How to Start a Mobile Foot Care Business in Van

Before taking your first client as a mobile foot care business in Van, it's worth understanding exactly where the Foot Health Practitioner tier ends and the protected clinical titles begin, across Van and Caerphilly.

What the rules say

You don't need a formal qualification to offer general foot care, but you must never describe yourself as a "podiatrist" or "chiropodist" -- both are HCPC-protected titles. In practice, insurers, care homes and professional associations expect recognised training regardless. Public liability insurance remains legally optional for a sole trader but is about as close to essential as cover gets, given the physical contact involved in this work.
